HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 14, Page 218, No Ordinance Number21$ AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7 OF THE "APPOINTIVE EMPLOYEES' CIVIL SERVICE ORDINANCE", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COM- MISSIONERS 6N DECEMBER 2, 1947, AND AMENDED ON SEPTEMBER 22, 1959 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That.Section 7 of the "Appointive Employees' Civil Service Ordinance, which was adopted by the Board of Com- missioners on December 2, 1947, and amended on September 22, 1959, be, and the same is hereby amended and reordained so that said section as amended and reordained-shall read as follows: "SECTION 7. There is hereby created and authorized the following positions in the Department of Finance, and the salary of each position, provided the amount of such salary is not changed under any apportion- ment ordinance hereafter adopted shall be as follows: Position Salary Per Month Finance Director, Head of Department (To be known also as City Treasurer) $425.00 Assistant Treasurer 350.00 Auditor 310.00 Bookkeeping Machine Operator (formerly Bookkeeper) 265.00 Senior Clerk (formerly Deputy Treasurer) 250.00 Clerk -Stenographer 245.00 Machine Operator 240.00 Clerk -typist No. 1 (1 position) 230.00 Clerk -typist No. 2 (1 position) 230.00 License Inspector 325.00 The Clerk -typist No. 2 shall be paid at the rate of $200.00 per month for the first six months; and at the expiration of six months $210.00 per month; and at the expiration of another six months $220.00 per month; and at the expiration of another six months $230.00 per month; such increases to be made upon recommendation of the City Manager." SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. SECTION 3.
