CIVIL SERVICE ORDINANCE" WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ON DECEMBER 2, 1947 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Section 21 of the "Appointive Employees' Civil Service Ordinance", which was adopted by the Board of Commission- ers on December 2, 1947, be, and the same is hereby, amended and reordained so that said section as amended and reordained shall read as follows: "SECTION 21. The Board of Trustees of the Appointive Employees' Pension Fund shall have exclusive control and management of the pension fund and of all moneys donated or paid for the relief or pensioning of employees. The membership of said board shall consist of the Mayor, who shall act as Chairman of said Board, the City Manager, and three employees who shall be elected by all appointive employees every two years beginning on the first Monday in January 1948; however, all members shall serve until their successors are duly elected. The City Treasurer shall serve as ex -officio treasurer of said board but shall not have the right to vote on any question. Not more than one elective member shall be chosen from any one department of the City. "In event of a vacancy in the term of any elective member, the remaining voting members of the Board shall, by a majority vote, appoint a successor to serve for the remainder of the term." SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. SECTION 3.
