That the City ?Tanager be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into a contract, on behalf of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, with D -Y Sunray Oil Company for the purchase of the folliwing supplies for use by the City from January 1, 1960 to June 30, 1960: D -X Lubricating gasoline, octane rating 92.2, normal tank wagon price 23.6 cents per gallon, discount 2.65 cents per gallon. D -I{ Boron 27.1 Lubricating gasoline, octane rating 99.7/cents per gallon, dis- count 3.15 cents per gallon. In the event a temporary or subnormal consumer price is put into effect and such price is lower than the established price with discount, the lower price will apply. Alotor Oil in 55 -gallon drums as follows: D -;i I.lotor Oil, best premium grade, detergent IID (not to be a fleet oil) 74 cents per gallon; T.B.D. first grade, detergent HD 52 dents per gallon; D-;; Diamond motor oil, first grade, non -detergent 51 cents per gallon; T.B.D. motor oil, diesel, high detergent 52 cents per gallon; Diamond hydraulic oil (437) 45 cents per gallon; D -X Diesel fuel iIo. 2 15.7 cents per gallon, discount 3.01 cents per gallon, D -X all purpose chassis lubricant in 100-120 pound drums 21.0 cents per pound, discount 2.0 cents per pound. D -n Brite gear lube oil, weight 140 and 90 in 100-120 pound drums 13.0 cents per pound, discount 2.0 cents per pound. D -X kerosene 15.9 cents per gallon, discount 3.01 cents per gallon. Anti -freeze, permanent type in gallon dans •;P'2.00 per gallon, discount 31 cents per gallon. All products furnished to the City will be paid for on or about the 10th day of the month following the purchase, and the City is to have a 1j cash discount in ten days on motor hil and greases but no discount on anti -freeze, and the City shall not be required to make a deposit on drums buy all drums are to be returned by the City. The Company will furnish and install three (3) electrically operated and metered gasoline pumps, necessary tanks and concrete islands, and will furnish one (1) electrically operated and metered diesel pump and underground tank. 199 All prices quoted above shall be guaranteed against advance in the market price, and the Company, except as otherwise provided herein, is to guarantee a corresponding reduction in price in the event of a decrease of any of the above items. In the event of fire or other emergency, the Company shall agree to give twenty-four hour emergency tank truck service to any point in the city seven days per week. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be introduced at a meeting of the Board of Commissioners and remain on file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and it being necessary for the public health and safety that the above products be received as soon as possible, an emergency is now declared and this ordinance shall -.be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
