AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MANNING AND SHIPLEY, INC.
FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE (1) MODEL 7616 GAR MOOD LOADPACKER
FOR USE IN THE PUBLIC 1ORKS DEPART114ENT OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
AND PRESCRIBING THE CONDITIONS UPON 14HICH SUCII PURCHASE SHALL BE
MADE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COI.11ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky accept the
bid of Nanning & Shipley, Inc. in the sum of •;p'4,490.00 for the
sale to the City of One (1) new Nodel 7616 Gar Idood Loadpacker,
16 cu, yd, packer type refuse body, having all specifications
as required and set out in the Resolution authorizing the adver-
tisement for bids for the purchase of same, adopted by the Board
of Commissioners on October 13, 1959.
SECTION 2. That the City Dlanager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to enter into a contract for the purchase of said
refuse body as set out in Section 1.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall be introduced and remain
on file for public inspection for at least one (1) week in the com-
pleted form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and
if adopted shall be in Hill force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
