API ORDIPIAHCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF TAYLOR-1VIILSON CHEVROLET-
CADILLAC, INC. FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF'ONE (1) FOUR VHEEL DRIVE
TRUCK FOR USE BY THE FLOODI•JALL DEPARTMNT OF THE CITY, AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO PURCHASE SAPR
BE IT ORDAINED BY TIE BOARD OF COI. 4ISSIOPIERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky accept the
bid' "of Taylor=Jilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc, in the sum of %p2,884.25
less :,x810.00 for trade=in of one Jillys pick-up truck, malting a total
delivery cost of ,,;2,074.25 for the sale to the City of one (1) new
1960 Chevrolet one-half ton pick-up truck, I•Iodel K 1404 with four-
wheel drive and having all other required specifications as set out
in the resolution authorizing the advertisement for bids for the
purchase of such truck adopted by the Board of Commissioners on
August 25, 1959.
SECTION 2. That the City :•Ianager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to enter into a contract for the purchase of said truck
as set out in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for public inspection format least one week in the completed
_Form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if
adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
