BE IT ORDAIi'dED BY THE BOARD OF C011,ISSIO11ERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1_ That Section 1 of an ordinance containing the title
quoted above, which was adopted pn December 11, 1951, and amended on
September 9, 1958, be, and the same is hereby amended and reordained so
that said section as amended and reordained shall read as follows:
"SECTIO-; 1. The number and rank of the members of the Fire P�
Department of the City of Paducah and their monthly salaries, provided
said salaries are not changed by any annual apportionment ordinance UI
hereafter adopted shall be as follows: !

Assistant Chief 2 350.00
Fire Prevention Inspector 2 According to Rank
Fire Captains 10 325.00
Fire Lieutenants 10 310.00
Engineers 12 297.00

(Same Rank as Fireman0
Fireman a8 290.00
Provided, however, that any fireman hereafter appointed, during
his first year of service shall receive a salary of .,x270.00 per month
and upon completion of a year of satisfactory service as determined by
the City I.Ianager on recommendation of the Fire Chief, his monthly
salary shall be increased to ,12$0.00 for the second year of service, and
upon completion of the second year of satisfactory service as determined
by the City Manager on recommendation of the Fire Chief, his monthly
salary shall be increased to the sum of ,.1290.00."
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are, to the extent of such comflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
on and after October 1, 1959.
