AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CORPORATION
COUNSEL AND ASSISTANT CORPORATION COUNSEL OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
IENTUCKY, TO TAKE ANY AND ALL NECESSARY STEPS TO DISMISS, ON
BEHALF OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, ALL LITIGATION NODI PENDING IPI
McCRACKEN CIRCUIT COURT AFFECTING THE ACQUISITION BY THE CITY
OF IENTUCKY UTILITIES COMPANYIS PROPERTIES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Corporation Counsel and Assistant Corporation
Counsel of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, are hereby authorized and
directed to take any and all necessary steps to dismiss, on behalf
of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, all litigation now pending in
McCracken Circuit Court affecting the acquisition by the City of
Kentucky Utilities Companyts properties.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
