HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 14, Page 139, No Ordinance Number13 j AN ORDINAidCE APPROVING THE FILIAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON TIME SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF 321111) AND HARRISON STREETS, AND AI-MNDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDIPIAI1ICE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZOIIIIIG BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF GOI-1141ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, IENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a Resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning and Zoning Commission on June 17, 1959, entitled "A RESOLUTIO:d CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING Commission on the proposed rezoning of property located on the SOUTHEAST CORI;IER OF THE INTERSECTION OF 32ND AND HARRISON STREETS,,, be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTIOI; 2, That the zone classification of the follovring property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-3 Two -Family Residential to B-3 General Business: Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of 32nd and Harrison Streets; thence east along the center line of Harrison Street 123 feet; thence south parallel with 32nd Street 232.74 feet to the center line of a new alley; thence west parallel with Harrison Street to the center line of i_iorris Avenue; thence northwest with -the center line of Morris Avenue to the center line of 32nd Street; thence north iri.th the center line of 32nd Street to the beginning. SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map referred to in Section 13 thereof entitled "CITY OF PADUCAH PLAId- ZONING I -TAP" be, and they are hereby, amended to the ettnet and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the change provided for in Section 2 hereof. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions. SECTIOU 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
