THE SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY OF TWO HEAVY DUTY P017ER BUCKET
MACHINES FOR SEWER CLEANING; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO CONTRACT TO
PURCHASE SAME AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY TO EXIST
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMD`iISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
RENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky accept the bid of
Delta Tool and Supply Company for the sale to the City of one model
16 HP --16 H.P. Power Bucket Machine and one model 16HP-- T.L. Truck --Loader
Bucket Machine with equipment set forth in the bid of said company at
the purchase price of 'ia4,479.30. The equipment is to be painted orange
and black under the supervision of the Department of Public Works and
delivery is to be made within twenty-one (21) days after the execution of
a purchasE contract.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to
enter into a contract for the purchase of same.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for
one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be
put upon its final passage. As this equipment is needed by the City as
soon as possible for the protection of public health, safety and welfare,
an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after its adoption.
