HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 14, Page 10, No Ordinance Number10 A EESNF D E.D yl 1 4 4 C AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7A OF THE "APPOINTIVE EPIPLOYEEST CIVIL SERVICE ORDINANCE", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ON DECEMBER 2, 1947, AND AMENDED ON JULY 8, 1958 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COI+MISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, IENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Section 7A of the "Appointive Employees, Civil Service Ordinance", which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on December 2, 1947, and amended on July 8, 1958, be, and the same is hereby, amended and reordained so that said section as amended and reordained shall read as follows: "SECTION 7-A. There is hereby created and authorized the following positions in the Office of the City Assessor, which office was formerly in the Department of Finance, and the salary of each position, provided L D the amount of such salary is not changed under any apportionment ordinance hereafter adopted, shall be as follows: Position Salary Per Month Chief Assessor, Bead of Department x415.00 Assessor 340.00 Clerk -typist 190.00 Evaluation Clerk 230.00 The Clerk=typist shall be paid at the rate of ',P"190.00 per month for the first six months; and at the expiration of six months :;¢200.00 per month; at the expiration of another six months ;210.00 per month; and at the expiration of another six months p220.00 per month; such increases to be made upon recommendation of the City Manager. The evaluation Clerk shall be paid at the rate of ;;x230.00 per month for the first six months; at the expiration of six months 5?235.00 per month; and at the expiration of another six months ;240.00 per month; such increases to be made upon recommendation of the City Manager." SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. SECTION 3.
