HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 13, Page 984, No Ordinance Number984 / AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING C01W[SSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE SOUTHI'IEST SIDE OF BELTLINE HIGHWAY BE WEEN 14URRAY AVENUE AND CHAMBLIN AVENUE, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COW4ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning and Zoning Commission on November 19, 1958, entitled: "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE SOUTH1WEST SIDE OF BELTLINE HIGHWAY BETWEEN MURRAY AVENUE AND CHAP•1BLIN AVENUE", BE APPROVED AS THE FINAL REPORT OF SAID Commissi respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zona classification of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from B-1 to B-3: Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of Murray Avenue and Cully Street; thence east with the center line of Murray Avenue to the center line of the Beltline; thence southeast with the center line of the Beltline to the center line of Green Street; thence south with the center line of Green Street to the center line of Chamblin Avenue; thence west with the center line of Chamblin Avenue to the center line of Hymarsh Avenue; thence northwest with the center line of Hymarsh Avenue to the center line of Cully Street; thence north with the center line of Cully Street to the point of beginning. SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map referred to in Section 13 thereof entitled "CITY OF PADUCAH PLAN -ZONING MAP" be, and they are hereby, amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the change provided for in Section 2 hereof. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions/ SECTION 5.
