CIVIL SERVICE ORDINANCE", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF
COMMISSIONERS ON DECEMBER 2, 1947 AND AMENDED ON MARCH 16, 1957
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 9 of the "Appointive Employeest
Civil Service Ordinance" which was adopted by the Board of
Commissioners on December 2, 1947 and amended on March 16, 1957,
be, and the same is hereby amended and reordained so that said
section as amended and reordained shall read as follows:

City Clerk $311.00
Secretary to City Manager and Mayor 299.00
Social Worker 180.00
Maintenance
Chief of Maintenance Division 1 60.O—O
Maintenance Men (2 positions) 255.00
Maintenance Helper (2 positions) 235.00
Inspections
Building & Electrical Inspector 395.00
Clerk -typist 190.00
Clerk -typist under this section shall be paid at the rate of $190.00
per month for the first six months, $200.00 per month for the next six mon
and 1,210.00 per month thereafter upon recommendation of the City Manager.
The Building & Electrical Inspector shall perform the duties formerly
performed by the Building Inspector and the Electrical Inspector, and said
Building & Electrical Inspector shall be under the direct supervision of
the City Manager."
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
on and after December 1, 1958,
