HEATING COMPANY, INC. OF LOT 8, BLOCK 2 DN SHORT SIXTEENTH STREET
IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE A DEED OF CONVEYANCE TO SAID PROPERTY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky accept the
offer of Gilbert Plumbing and Heating Company, Inc, in the amount
of $100.00 cash for the purchase of the following property in the
City of Paducah, Kentucky;
Lying between South 16th Street and Short 16th Street and
being Lot No. 8 in Block No. 2, as shown on Plat Book of the
City of Paducah Engineerts office, and being a triangular lot
fronting 51.9 feet on South 16th Street and running back
toward 16th Street on the North side of said lot 85.1 feet
to the line of an alley; thence along said alley 99.75 feet
to Short 16th Street forming a triangle.
Being the same land conveyed to the City of Paducah by
Roy Vance, Sr., Master Commissioner, by deed dated February
21, 1950, and of record in Deed Book 286, page 245 in the
McCracken County Court Clerk's office.
SECTION 2. Upon payment of the aforesaid sum of $100.00 to
the City Treasurer, the Mayor and City Clerk are by this ordinance
authorized to execute a deed conveying said land to said purchaser
with no warranty as to title and subject to any state of facts or
conditions that might be shown by an accurate.survey of said land.
SECTION 3. This ordinance'shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
