AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CLOSING OF A PORTION OF
AN ALLEY IN BLOCK 11, CHAMBLIN, HURRAY AND BROWN ADDITION,
AND AUTHORIZING THE CORPORATION COUNSEL TO INSTITUTE
ACTION IN THE McCRACKEN CIRCUIT COURT FOR THE PURPOSE
OF CLOSING SUCH PORTION OF SUCH ALLEY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY;
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, does
hereby authorize the closing of the alley situated in Block
No. 11, Chamblin, Murray and Brown Addition from the west
line of Green Street westwardly a distance of 175 feet.
SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, is hereby authorized and empowered to
institute and prosecute, pursuant to the provisions of IM.S
94.360, a suit for a decree ordering the closing of the
aforesaid portion of said alley.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
