AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF KING-WOODALL MOTOR SALES FOR
THE PURCHASE OF ONE NE':d STATIOH WAGON FOR USE IN THE FIRE DEPARTI.IENT
AND AUTHORIZIING THE CITY !�WJAGER TO CONTRACT TO PURCHASE SAP,F_
BE IT ORDAINED BY THS,BOARD OF COIiIJ33IONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, I7EiITUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of
King -Woodall Motor Sales in the sum of ,72,400.00 less :,x200.00 for trade-
in for one 1948 Chevrolet panel truck, making the total delivery cost
of ,2,200.00 for the sale to the City of one 1958 Ford 4 -door Ranch
Jagon, six passenger, with eight cylinder, 332 cu, inch, 240 horsepower
engine, and equipped with: Automatic transmission, 50 amp, generator,
oil bath air cleaner, directional signals, spot light, magic-aire,
fresh air heater, five 750 x 14 first line tires, oil filter, safety
plate glass all around, wide contour frame, angle -poise 4 -way ball
point front suspension, safety wheels, safety steering wheel, new
Magic -circle steering, painted fire engine_�red. Delivery to be made
within thirty (30) days from the execution of a contract to purchase
said vehicle.
SECTION 2. That the City i+Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to enter into a contract for the purchase of said vehicle as set out
in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for public inspection for at least one week in the completed form in
which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be
in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
