AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 32.5 OF THE "APPOINTIVE
E111PLOYEEST CIVIL SERVICE ORDINANCE", 13HICH SECTION UAS ADOPTED
BY THE BOARD OF C0141ISSIONERS ON MARCH 29, 1958
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COP+MISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1, That Section 32.5 of the Appointive Employees'
Civil Service Ordinance, which section was adopted by the Board
of Commissioners on March 29, 1958, be, and the same is hereby,
amended and reordained so that said section as amended and re -
ordained shall read as follows:
"SECTION 32.5 Except as may hereafter be specifically
provided by action of the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Paducah in the case of each individual employee of the City of
Paducah or any department thereof, this ordinance shall not be
effective as to any person employed after March 29, 1958 by the
City of Paducah, Kentucky or any department thereof, nor shall
it operate to vest in any person who was employed on or prior
to said date any rights, privileges or benefits to which he is
not entitled on said date or which have not been_ -preserved to
him by virtue of the provisions of KRS 90.400 (6),".
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
