AUGUST 25, 1955 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF CO1-'R,1ISSIOIdERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTIOI'I 1. That Section 1 of an ordinance containing the title quoted above, which was adopted on December 11, 1951, and amended on August 25, 1955, be, and the same is hereby amended and reordained so that said section as amended and reordained shall read as follows: "SECTION 1. The number and rank of the members of the Fire Department of the City of Paducah and their monthly salaries, provided - said salaries are not changed by any annual apportionment ordinance�1JT4 hereafter adopted shall be as follows: Position Nunb er of Positions Monthly Salary Fire Chief 1 ,415.00 Assistant Chief 2 340.00 Fire Prevention Inspector 2 According to Rank Dire Captains 10 315.00 Fire Lieutenants 10 300.00 Engineers 12 2$7.00 Fire Alarm Operators 4 300.00 (Same rank as Firemen) Firemen 29 280.00 Provided, however, that any fireman hereafter appointed, during his first year of service shall receive a salary of ..j260.00 per month and upon completion of a year of satisfactory service as determined by the City Manager on recommendation of the Fire Chief, his monthly salary shall be increased to ,P"270.00 for the second year of service, and upon completion of the second year of satisfactory service as determined by the City I -Tanager on recommendation of the Fire Chief, his monthly salary shall be increased to the sum of ;;f250.00. SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption. Haley L.
