AN ORDI14ANCE AMENDING SECTION 7A OF THE "APPOINTIVE Et,1PLOYEES'
CIVIL SERVICE ORDINANCE", WHICH IdAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF C011-IISSIONERS
ON DECEMBER 2, 1947, AND APZNDED ON MARCH 16, 1957
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF CODIIISSIOI4ERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, MITUCI{Y:
SECTION 1. That Section 7A of the "Appointive Employees'
Civil Service Ordinance", which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners
on December 2, 1947, and amended on 1•arch 16, 1957 be, and the same is
hereby, amended and reordained so that said section as amended and
reordained shall read as follows:
"SECTION 7-A. There is hereby created and authorted the following

positions in the Office of the City Assessor, which office was formerly
in the Department of Finance, and the salary of each position, provided
the amount of such salary is not changed under any apportionment
ordinance hereafter adopted, shall be as follows:

Clerk -typist 190.00
The Clerk -typist shall be paid at the rate of •,1190.00 per month
for the first six months; and at the expiration of six months .;200.00
per month"; at the expiration of another six months 5210.00 per month;
and at the expiration of another six months ;1220.00 per month; such
increases to be made upon recommendation of the City Manager."
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect on
and after July 16, 1958.
