ON DECEMBER 4, 1951 AND AMENDED ON FEBRUARY 26, 1957
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C01,11ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. that Section 12 of an ordinance containing the title
quoted above, which was adopted by the board of Commissioners on
December 4, 1951 and amended on February 26, 1957, be, and the same
is hereby amended and reordained so that said section as amended and
reordained shall read as follows:
"SECTION 12. The Regular Meetihgs of the Board of Commissioners
shall be held at 7:30 o'clock P.M. on the second and fourth Tuesdays
of each month, except when such meetings will fall on a legal holiday,
then the Regular Meeting of said Board will be held on the following
day at the same hour.
"Special or called meetings may be held upon the request of
the Mayor or two members of the Board of Commissioners if written
notice thereof is delivered to each member or to his or her residence
or business address twenty-four hours prior to the time that such
meeting is to be held. Provided, however, a special or called meeting
may be held at any date and hour vrithout written notice provided the
Mayor and all members of the Board of Commissioners are present at
such meeting. Executed or accepted notices shall be filed with th
City Clerk and spread upon the minutes."
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption, and the next regular meeting of the
Board of Commissioners shall be held on Tuesday, June 24, 1958.
