AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF TAYLOR-BIILSO-K CHEVROLET
MTS ANY, INCORPORATED, FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
OF ONE (1) VAN TYPE DUILp TRUCK AND BODY, AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY I1IAHAGER TO CONTRACT TO PURCHASE SAID
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C01-11ISSIOPIERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid
of Taylor -Milson Chevrolet Company, Inc. for the sale to the City
of one (1) 1954 Chevrolet, Cab and Chassis Model 6503 with extra
equipment as specified in its bid, to be equipped with a P�iidwest
Van Type Body 14 feet long according to specifications in said bid.
Said truck completely equipped with body to be delivered f.o.b.
Paducah, Kentucky for the total sum of :;3,665.50. The truck and
chassis with body installed is to be delivered within three (3)
weeks from the execution of the contract.
SECTION 2. That the City 1•1araoer be, and he is hereby, authorize
to enter into a contract for the purchase of same.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form in which
it shall be put upon its final passage. As the truck and body is
needed by the Refuse Department of the City as soon as possible for
the protection of public health, safety and welfare, an emergency
is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption.
