AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE TO LESLIE A. WATKINS OF
THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY IN AND TO CERTAIN
LAND SITUATED ON SOUTH 6TH STREET NEAR MURRAY AVENUE, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A DEED OF
CONVEYANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COI&IISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky accept the
offer of Leslie A. Watkins in the amount of ;'Pl20.00 cash for the
purchase of the interest of the City of Paducah in and to the
following described property:
Beginning at a point on the west line of
South 6th Street 93 feet, more or less,
south of Murray Avenue, said point being
the south east corner of the Lofton property;
thence southwardly with the west line of 6th
street 60 feet; thence westwardly and parallel
with Murray Avenue 166 feet; thence northwardly
and parallel with 6th Street 60 feet to Loftonts
south line; thence eastwardly parallel with
Murray Avenue and with Loftonts south line 166
feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. Upon payment of the aforesaid sum of ;3120.00, the
Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute, for and
on behalf of the City of Paducah, a deed conveying the interest of
the City in and to said property, and said deed shall contain no
warranty as to title and shall be subject to any state of facts
that might be shown by an accurate survey of said land.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
