SECURE PERIODIC FINANCIAL REPORTS FROM ALL BOARDS, AGENCIES AND
ORGANIZATIONS TO WHICH IS APPROPRIATED FUNDS BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
WHEREAS, annually in its apportionment ordinance the City
. of Paducah, Kentucky appropriates various sums of money to various
boards, agencies and organizations in the City, and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to know how such funds and other
funds of such boards, agencies and organizations are used for the
purpose of determining the need for funds of the City.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized and directed to secure periodic financial reports from
all boards, agencies and organizations for which funds of the City
of Paducah, Kentucky are appropriated, such reports to be made to
him annually, semi-annually or otherwise as may be requested by
him. Such reports shall contain complete information as to income
and expenditures of not only city funds but all funds coming into
the hands of such boards, agencies and organizations.
SECTION 2. In the event any board, agency or organization
to which funds are appropriated by the City shall fail or refuse to
furnish the City Manager with such reports as maybe requested by
him, then, at his option, he may direct the City Treasurer to forego
future payments of appropriations until further action by him or this
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
