"AN ORDINANCE DIRECTING THE CITY TREASURER TO WITHHOLD A FEE OF 2%
FOR THE COLLECTION OF SCHOOL TAXES LEVIED FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE
BOARD OF EDUCATION OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, AND PROVIDING FOR THE
DISPOSITION OF THE FEE SO COLLECTED AND RETAINED", WHICH WAS
ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY ON DECEMBER 11, 1956
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 1 of an ordinance containing the title
quoted above, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on
December 11, 1956 be amended and reordained so that same as -amended
and reordained shall read as follows:
"SECTION 1. That the City Treasurer of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky be, and he is hereby, directed to withhold a fee of lj
- on all tax collections made for the benefit of the Board of Education
of the City of Paducah, Kentucky".
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption and shall be retroactive to April 1, 1958
and shall affect all collections made on and after said date.
