AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF TAYLOR -WILSON CHEVROLET
CADILLAC, INC. FOR THE PURCHASE OF SEVEN NEW 1958 FIVE -
PASSENGER AUTOMOBILES FOR USE IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO CONTRACT TO PURCHASE SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky accept the
bid of Taylor -Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc, in the sum of $12,801.21
less •;p2,191.20 for trade-in for four used Pontiacs and three used
Plymouths, making the total delivery cost of $p10,710.00 for the sale
to the City of seven new 1958 Chevrolet Tudoor five -passenger automobiles
with specifications as set out in the bid of said Taylor -Wilson
Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc. received and filed by the Board ofComm-
issioners on March 22, 1958. Delivery to be made within 30 days
of the execution of a contract to purchase said automobiles.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to enter into a contract for the purchase of said automobiles as set
out in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for public inspection for at least one week in the completed form
in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall
be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
