DECaBER 2, 1947 AND ADiEAIDED ON JANUARY 30, 1953 AND TAIARCH 3, 1953
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COIARTIISSIONdERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KEIdTUCK
SECTION 1. That Sections 7 and 8-D of the "Appointive Employees, Civil
Service Ordinance" which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on December
2, 1947, and amended on January 30, 1953 and I,iarch 3, 1953, be, and the same
are hereby amended and reordained so that said sections as amended and reordained
shall read as follows:
"SECTION 7. There is hereby created and authorized the following positions
in the Department of Finance, and the salary of each position, provided the amoun
of such salary is not changed under any apportionment ordinance hereafter adopted
shall be as follows:

"SECTION 8-D. There is hereby authorized and created the following
positions in the Floodwall Department, and the salary of each position, provided
the amount of such salary is not changed under any apportionment ordinance
hereafter adopted shall be as follows:

SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are,
to the extent of such conflict, hereby retealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be retroactively effective as of
April 1, 1954.
