That Sections 7 and 8-D of the "Appointive Employees, Civil Service Ordinance" which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on December 2, 1947, and amended on January 30, 1953 and I,iarch 3, 1953, be, and the same are hereby amended and reordained so that said sections as amended and reordained shall read as follows: "SECTION 7. There is hereby created and authorized the following positions in the Department of Finance, and the salary of each position, provided the amoun of such salary is not changed under any apportionment ordinance hereafter adopted shall be as follows: _Position No. Position Salary Per I.Ionth 1 Finance Director, Head of Department (To be known also as City Treasurer) ;400.00 2 Chief Assessor 310.00 3 Assistant Treasurer 300.00 4 Assessor 300.00 5 Auditor 296.00 6 Bookkeeping Machine Operator (formerly Bookkeeper) 240.00 7 Senior Clerk. (formerly Deputy Assessor) 235.00 8 Senior Clerk (formerly deputy Treasurer) 230.00 9 Clerk, Stenographer 220.00 10 Clerk -typist (3. positions) 210.00 "SECTION 8-D. There is hereby authorized and created the following positions in the Floodwall Department, and the salary of each position, provided the amount of such salary is not changed under any apportionment ordinance hereafter adopted shall be as follows: Position No. Position Salary Per Month 1 Floodwall Superintendent (head of Department) ~1400.00 2 Floodwall Foreman 296.00 3 Floodwall Maintenance Men (3 positions) (formerly maintenance operators) 272.00 It SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby retealed. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be retroactively effective as of April 1, 1954.
