HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 13, Page 875, No Ordinance Number875 , i AN ORDINANCE CLOSING A PORTION OF KENTUCKY AVENUE AND A PORTION OF KEILER AVENUE, AND AUTHORIZING THE CORPORATION COUNSEL TO INSTITUTE ACTION FOR SUCH CLOSING IN THE McCRACKEN BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky does hereby authorize the closing of all of Kentucky Avenue from the east line of Nahm Street eastwardly to the west line of the Keiler home place property; and the closing of all of Keiler Avenue from the north line of Washington Street northwardly to the south line of Kentucky Avenue. SECTION 2. that the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah is hereby authorized and empowered to institute and prosecute, pursuant to the provisions of KRS 94.360, a suit in McCracken Circuit Court for a judgment ordering the closing of the aforesaid portion of Kentucky Avenue and Keiler Avenue. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
