BELL TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAPH COk:'PANY ABUTTING THE SOUTH SIDE OF QUARLES AVENUE BETWEEN MAYFIELD ROAD AILD -THE ILLIIiOIS CENTRAL RAILROAD RIGHT OF WAY %'7HEREAS, the City of Paducah is now the owner of a right- of-way for street purposes (as an e%tension of Lincoln Street) and an easement for public.utilities through property of Southern Bell Telephone and Telegraph Company which abuts the south side of Quarles .Avenue between I-iayfield Road and the Illinois Central Railroad right-of-way, and WHEREAS said Company has recently filed with the Paducah Planning and Zoning Commission a plat of said property, dated February 4, 1958, entitled "Southern Bell ;el. & Tel..Co., Property Survey, 1210 Mayfield Road, Paducah, Kentucky'?, a copy of which plat is attached hereto, -and M-MREAS said plat contains the dedication of said Street and easement, inclusive of small areas not previously acquired by said City, and 11HEREAS said Commission has recommended the acceptance by said City of the additional areas dedicated on said plat, 110'.1 THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COIjiT'aSSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, I 1 TUCIM SECTION 1. That the dedication of said Street and Easement as contained on said plat now be accepted by the City of Paducah to the extent that it has not heretofore been accepted,t hereby accom- plishing full acceptance of the dedication of the entire areas of said Street and Easement as platted. SECTIO'! 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
