SEAY OF PADUCAH, MITUCKY, AS ARCHITECTS FOR THE SOUTHSIDE ELE-
MENTARY SCHOOL PROJECT ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
. MEAS, the Board of Education of the City of Paducah, Kentucky
is desirous of constructing a school building in paducah, kentucky
known as the Southside Elementary School, which is to be con-
structed under the provisions of Chapter 162 of Kentucky Revised
Statutes, and
11HEREAS, it is required by KRS 162.160 (1) that the plans
and specifications for such project shall be prepared by an architect
selected by the City and approved by the Board of Education, and
191 -M -REAS, the Board of Education of the City of Paducah, Kentucky,
by and through its Superintendent, Ralph W. Osborne, has requested
that the firm of Johnston & Seay be selected as such Architects.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIE BOARD OF CONMI SSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, IENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the firm of Johnston & Seay be, and it is
hereby, selected and named as Architect for the Paducah School Project
known as the Southside Elementary School under the provisions of
KRS 162.160 (1).
SECTION 2. That the compensation to be paid to said firm by the
Board of Education of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, shall be an
amount equal to 5% of the cost of the construction of said project.
SECTION 3. All resolutions in conflict herewith are, to the
extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 14. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
on and after the approval of the Board of Education of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky as required by the aforesaid KRS 162.160 (1).
