HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 13, Page 810, No Ordinance NumberAN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COM24ISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE EAST SIDE OF LONE OAK ROAD BET'VIEEN JACKSON STREET AND GOODMAN DRIVE, ON THE WEST SIDE OF LONE OAK ROAD BET11EEH MAPLE STREET AND BLANDVILLE ROAD, AND OTHER ADJACENT PROPERTY BETWEEN MAPLE STREET AND BLANDVILLE ROAD, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C0D11ISSIONER3 OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a•resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning and Zoning Commission on November 22, 1957, entitled: "A RESOLUTIOII CONSTITUTING TILE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COD11ISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE EAST SIDE OF LONE OAK ROAD BETWEEN JACKSON STREET AND GOODMAN DRIVE, ON THE WEST SIDE OF LONE OAK ROAD BETWEEN MAPLE STREET AND BLANDVILLE ROAD, AND OTHER ADJACENT PROPERTY BETWEEN MAPLE STREET AND BLANDVILLE ROAD", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-1 and R-2 to B-1: Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of Jackson Street and Lone Oak Road; thence east along the center line of Jackson Street to a point 160 feet east of the east line of Lone Oak Road; thence south parallel with and 160 feet east of the east line of Lone Oak Road, and along the east lines of properties owned by Hopper and Leutenmayer, to the center line of Beyer Avenue; thence east along the center line of Beyer Avenue to the intersection of that line with the center line of an alley in Block A of the Holland and Grasham Addition; thence south along the center line of said alley to the center line of Goodman Drive; thence west along the center line of Goodman Drive to the center line of Lone Oak Road; thence south along the center line of Lone Oak Road to the intersection of that line with the center line of Maple Street; thence west along the center line of Maple Street to the intersection of that line with the center line of Davis Avenue; thence north along the center line of Davis Avenue 127.85 feet to a point in the south line of the property of Frank Davis; thence east along the south line of Frank Davis 75.52 feet to Hannants line; thence north with the line dividing the properties of Hannan and Davis to the center line of Blandville Road, crossing the south line of Blandville Road at a point 1106 feet more or less west of the west line of Lone Oak Road as it originally existed; thence east with the center line of Blandville Road 1140 feet more or less to the intersection of that line with the center line of Lone Oak Road; thence south with the center line of Lone Oak Road -to the beginning. 811 SECTIOPI 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map referred to in Section 13 thereof entitled °CITY OF PADUCAH PLAN - ZONING IdAP" be, and they are hereby, amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the change provided for in Section 2 hereof. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions. SECTIOH 5.
