FROM CLINTON COURT TO JACKSON STREET, AND JHICH LIES ADJACENT TO THE
EAST BOUNDARY OF THE P &.I RAILROAD RIGHT OF lIAY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COi•911ISSIONERS OF TILE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah does hereby close that certain
25 foot public alley located within the city limits of the City of
Paducah, which is bounded and described as follows:
Being the 25 foot public alley located in the City of Paducah,
Itentucky, shown on the plat of survey of the property of H. B.
Banks, made by Elmer Y. Hollis, Engineer, recorded in the
office of the Clerk of the McCracken County Court on November
8, 1957 in Plat Book "F", at page 26, and beginning at a
4" x 4" x 36" concrete monument at the northeasterly corner
of the intersection of Jackson Street and the P & I Railroad
right of way as shown on said plat; thence in a northwesterly
direction with the easterly boundary of said railroad right of
way a distance of 215.40 feet to a 4" x 4" x 36" concrete
monument at the corner of the intersection of said easterly
right of way line with the southerly boundary of Clinton
Court; thence in an easterly direction with the southerly
boundary of Clinton Court a distance of 25.54 feet; thence
in a southeasterly direction parallel to said railroad right
of way and 25 feet distant therefrom 218.40 feet to the
northerly boundary of Jackson Street; thence with the north-
erly boundary of Jackson Street in a westerly direction 26.77
feet to the point of beginning,all as shown by said plat.
SECTION 2. The dorporation Counsel of the City of Paducah is
hereby authorized and directed to institute an action in the McCracken
Circuit Court and take all necessary steps to obtain a judgment in
said court under the provisions of KRS 94.360 which shall complete
the closure of said alley and declare 'the same to be legally closed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be ih full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
