"AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE AMOUPIT OF COr•-'ENSATION WHICH THE CITY MANAGER
SHALL RECEIVE AND TRANSFERRING SUFFICIENT FUNDS FROM THE CONTINGENT
FUND TO THE APPROPRIATION FOR CITY MANAGERTS SALARY TO PAY THE SALARY
SO PROVIDED", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF CO9.,JISSIONERS ON
JULY 22, 1952.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COr,94ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 1 of an ordinance containing the title
quoted above, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on July
22, 1952, be, and the same is hereby repealed, amended and reordained
so that said Section as amended and reordained shall read as follows:
"SECTION 1. That the City Manager of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky receive for his services the sum of Eight Thousand (.;;$,000.00)
Dollars per year, effective November 1, 1957, which salary shall be
paid to him at the time other city salaries are paid".
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption and shall be retroactive to November 1,
1957.
