That Section 1 of an ordinance containing the title quoted above, which was adopted on Karch 16, 1957, and amended on March 30. 1957. be. and the Same i s hr rPhu n—APli o„ei rennin; —A so that said section as amended and reordained shall read as follows: "SECTION 1. That from and including the first day of October, 1957, the monthly rate of compensation to the following non -civil service employees of the City of Paducah shall be the amount sets opposite the designation of such employment, to -wit: 7!°v - Position Monthly Corporation Counsel ,;345.00 Assistant Corporation Counsel 245.00 Assistant Corporation Counsel (Police Court) 230.00 Director of Public "forks 390.00 City Physician (colored) 180.00 Alcoholic Beverage Administrator License Inspector 315.00 Secretary to City Judge Retroactive to January 1, 1957 200.00 Janitor 212.00 Dog Catcher 200.00 Chief Foreman of Refuse 340.00 Temporary Clerk in Engineering Department 210.00 Field -Office Helper 270.00 After the person has occupied the position of Field -Office Helper'for a period of six months the salary thereof, upon recommendation of the City &Tanager, shall be ;275.00 per month, and at the end of twelve months, upon recommendation of the City Manager, said salary shall be .7280.00 per month." SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con- flict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. SECTIO'T 3.
