API ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FIDiAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING
AND ZONING C0I-T1IISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE
SOUTH SIDE OF JEFFERSON STREET, 110 FEET .TEST OF FOURTEENTH STREET,
AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZON NG ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH
REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COA1r1TSSIOi>vRS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, IENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning
and Zoning Commission on August 21, 1957, entitled: "A RESOLUTIO11
CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING
COY1 ISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE SOUTI[ SIDE
OF JEFFERSON STREET, 110 FEET ?:TEST OF FOUATEEIITH STREET", be approved
as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein
set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the follot^ring prop-
erty be, and it is hereby, changed from R-3 to R-4;
Beginning at a point in the center line of
Jefferson Street 165 feet west of the west
line of Fourteenth Street; thence south
parallel i•rith Fourteenth Street 206.25 feet;
thence east parallel i•rith Jefferson Street
55 feet; thence north parallel with Fourteenth
Street 206.25 feet to the center line of Jeff-
erson Street; thence Crest with the center line
of Jefferson Street 55 feet to the point of
be -ginning.
SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map referred
to in Section 13 thereof entitled "CITY OF PADUCAH PLAN - ZONING KAP',
be, and they are hereby, amended to the extent and in the respects
necessary to effect and designate the change provided for in Section 2
hereof.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this
ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for
any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or
provision shall not affect any other section; paragraph or provision
hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each
and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all
other sections, paragraphs and provisions.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption. Q
