A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 OF SECTION 1 OF
CONTRACT NO. 2, SANITARY SEWERS OF THE SANITARY SEVlERAGE IMPROVE"
IVIENT PROGRAM, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE SUCH
CHANGE ORDER ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY TO CAR111,IAC
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
WHEREAS, on December 6, 1955 the Board of Commissioners of
the City of Paducah, Kentucky approved and accepted the bid of
Carmac Construction Company for the construction of Section I
of Contract No. 2, Sanitary Sewers of the Sanitary Sewerage Improve-
ment Program, and authorized the City Manager to execute a contract
with Carmac Construction Company for such construction, and
VIHEREAS, said contract provided for certain possible change
orders, and
?'MEREAS, Black & Veatch, Consulting Engineers for the con-
struction, have recommended that an order designated as Change
Order No. 2 providing for the addition of unit prices and extra
work performed under method "C" resulting in an increase in the
contract price in the sum of 91,220.56.
WV THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, IENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Change Order No. 2 of the contract for the
construction of Section I of Contract No. 2 Sanitary Sewers of the
Sanitary Sewerage Improvement Program as set out above, resulting
in an increase of Vy1,220.56 of the contract price, be approved,
and that the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
such change order to Carmac Construction Company on behalf of the
City of Paducah, Kentucky.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
