A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 OF CONTRACT NO. 3
SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT OF THE SANITARY SEWERAGE IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE SUCH CIIANGE ORDER ON
BEHALF OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY WITH CARROTHERS CONSTRUCTION
COMPANY
:,7HEREAS, on December 6, 1955 the Board of Commissioners of the
City of Paducah, Kentucky approved and accepted the bid of Carrothers
Construction Company for the construction of Contract No. 3, Treatment
Plant of the Sanitary Sewerage Improvement Program, and authorized
the City Manager to execute a contract with Carrothers Construction
Company for such construction, and
WHEREAS, said contract provided for certain possible change
orders, and
WHEREAS, Black & Veatch, Consulting Engineers for the con-
struction, have recommended that an order designated as Change Order
No. 2 providing for an increase in -the contract price in the sum of
31,36$.40 for various items.
11011 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Change Order No. 2 of the contract for the con-
struction of Contract No. 3, Sewage Treatment Plant of the Sanitary
Sewerage Improvement Program as set out above, resulting in an increase
of :;?1,36$.40 of the contract price be approved, and that the City
Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute such Change Order
to Carrothers Construction Company on behalf of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
