A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 OF CONTRACT NO. 1
SEWAGE PU14P STATIONS OF THE SANITARY SE12RAGE IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM,
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE SUCH CHANGE ORDER ON BEHALF
OF TILE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY TO CARROTHERS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
WHEREAS, on December 6, 1955, the Board of Commissioners of the
City of Paducah, Kentucky approved and accepted the bid of Carrothers
Construction Company for the construction of Contract No. 1, Sewage
Pump Stations of the Sanitary Sewerage Improvement Program, and

authorized the City Manager to execute a contract with Carrothers
Construction Company for such construction, and
WHEREAS, said contract provided for certain possible change
!,=,REAS, Black & Veatch, Consulting Engineers for the construction,
have recommended that an order designated as Change Order No. 1 pro-
viding for an increase in the contract price in the sum of ;;1,769.$0
for various items.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Change Order No. 1 of Contract No. 1, Sewage
Pump Stations of the Sanitary Sewerage Improvement Program, as set out
above, resulting in an increase of 1.',1,769.$0 of the contract price
be approved, and that the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute such change order to Carrothers Construction Company on
behalf of the City of Paducah, Kentucky.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
