HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 13, Page 758, No Ordinance NumberAN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COAMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY AT THE INTER- SECTION OF CAIRO ROAD AND THIRTEENTH STREET, AND APIENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING. BE IT ORDAINED BY TIE BOARD OF COP-11ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning and Zoning Commission on July 3, 1957, entitled: "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANI4IPIG AND ZONING COMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY AT THE INTERSECTION OF CAIRO ROAD AND THIRTEENTH STREET", be approved as the final report of said commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the following prop- erty be, and it is hereby, changed from R=3 to B-3: Beginning at a point in the south line of Cairo Road 417 feet more or less west of the intersection of that line with the north line of 13th Street, which point marks the northwest corner of the property of Alice Gregory; thence south along Gregory's west line and that line extended, and at an interior angle of $7 degrees 40 minutes, to the center line of 13th Street; thence east along the center line of 13th Street to its intersection with the center line of Cairo Road; thence west with the center line of Cairo Road to a point opposite the point of beginning; thence south at an interior angle of $7 degrees 40 minutes to the point of beginning. SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map referred to in Section 13 thereof entitled "CITY OF PADUCAH PLAN - ZONING R'IAP" be, and they are hereby, amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the change provided for in Section 2 hereof. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
