A RESOLUTION ALLOWING TIME IYIAYOR AND EACH COMDTCSSIONER OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, CERTAIN PAYMENTS TO TIIEM BY THE CITY
FOR EXPENSES INCURRED IPI THE PERFORMANCE OF EXTRA DUTIES IMPOSED
UPON THEA: BY TIIE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF KENTUCKY AT ITS 1956
SESSION
WHEREAS, at the 1956 Session of the General Assembly of Kentucky
certain legislation was adopted imposing extra duties upon the
Mayor and Commissioners of the City of Paducah, it being a second
class city under the city manager form of government, and
WHEREAS, such legislation and such extra duties were not in effect
at the time the 1955 election was held for the current terms of
office, and
WHEREAS, it appears that the imposition of such duties has caused
and will cause extra expenses to them.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That there be allowed certain monthly sums of
money by the City of Paducah, Kentucky, from Account No. 1159,
to the Mayor and each Commissioner as follows:
.,100.00 per month to the Mayor
50.00 per month to each Commissioner.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption and shall be retroactive to January
1, 1957, and shall expire at the end of the present terms of office.
