ZONING CO2-IIL'ZSSION RESPECTING TIIE AIS ZHDI',:ENT OF SECTION 27 OF THE PADUCAH ZO1,iIi:G
ORDINANCE AND AMENDING SAID SECTION
KENTUCKY:
BE IT ORDAINED BY TIIE BOARD OF C01-1.1ISSIONERS OF THF, CITY OF PADUCAH,
SECTION 1. That a Resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning and
zoning Commission on April 7, 1954, entitled: "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE
FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLAAKEG AND ZONING C01-11ISSION ON THE PROPOSED
AMENDIKENT OF SECTION 27 OF THE PADUCAH ZOI;IPiG ORDINANCE", be approved as the
final report of said. Commission respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That Section 27 of the Paducah Zoning Ordinance (Ordinance
Book, 12, page 709) be, and it is hereby, amended by the addition of a new sub-
section reading as follows:
"K. Side Yards Reduced on Narrow Lots.
Side yards on a lot the use of which is permitted by Section
11, Subsection 2 hereof may be reduced so as to allow the
erection on such lot of a dwelling having a width up to 30
feet, provided no one side yard is reduced to less than 5 feet
in width and provided resulting side yards having a total width
of less than 12 feet shall be equal in width."
SECTION 3. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this
ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause,
the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not
affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose
and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and
provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
