A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 OF SECTIO14 I
OF CONTRACT NO. °, SANITARY SEWERS OF THE SANITARY SEVIERAGE IMPROVE-
MENT PROGRAM, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY I,IANAGER TO EXECUTE SUCH
CHANGE ORDER ON BEHALF DF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY TO CARITAC
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
WHEREAS on December 6, 1955 the Board of Commissioners of the
City of Paducah, Kentucky approved and accepted the bid of Carmac
Construction Company for the construction of Section I of Contract
No. 2, Sanitary Sewers of the Sanitary Sewerage Improvement Program,
and authorized the City Manager to execute a contract with Carmac
Construction Company for such construction, and
WHEREAS said Contract provided fot certain possible Change
Orders, and
WHEREAS Black & Veatch, Consulting Engineers for the con-
struction, have recommended that an order designated as Change Order
Into. 1 providing for cost of relocation of ,rater lines four inches
and larger in size resulting in an increase in the contract price
in the sum of :,,191.18.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COI&IISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY.:
SECTION 1. That Change Order No. l of the contract for the
construction of Section I of Contract No. 2, Sanitary Sewers of the
Sanitary Sewerage Improvement Program as set out above, resulting
in an increase of X191.1$ of the contract price be approved, and
that the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
such Change Order to Carmac Construction Company on behalf of the
City of Paducah, Kentucky.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
