That the bid of Emulsified Asphalt Company for sale to the City of Paducah of types RS, IiS and SS emulsified asphalt required by the city during the year 1957 be accepted, and the City Idanager is hereby authorized to enter into and execute a contract for the purchase, upon the order of the City, all of such asphalt to be used during the year 1957, said contract to contain the following terms, conditions and covenants: Orders are to be placed by collect telephone call to the Seller and delivery to be made by transport truck within twenty-four hours after order. All asphalt must meet Kentucky State Highway Specifications. The seller shall furnish and install a 10,000 gallon storage tank at 6th 2. Campbell Streets, Paducah, Kentucky where delivery is to be made at ,;0.1290 cents per gallon. A -uarantee shall be provided against advance in the market price and a guarantee shall be provided for reduction in price in the event of a decrease in the market price, and the Seller shall post a performance bond in the amount of :,12,500.00 guaranteeing,specifications and delivery. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for at least one (1) week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
