OF PADUCAH, I,EIQTUCIiY ATIrD ALL CITY OFFICERS FOR THE YEAR 1957 AS OF I-tARCII 31 AND DECEi15ER 31, IAI COISIDERATIOII OF THE PAYI•IENT TO THE!/ OF THE SUI+i of .;x3,000.00 i'JHEREAS, it appearing that the agreement of I9illiams £: Jilliams, Certified Public Accountants in the sum of ,3,000.00 for the prep- aration of an audit of the accounts of the City of Paducah, Kentucky for the year 1957 as of :'arch 31 and December 31, is fair and reasonable, and WHEREAS, it is required by law that an annual audit be made of the accounts of all city officers by qualified Public Accountants. N9,J THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah, Kentucky; SECTION 1. That Idilliams �7: vTilliams, Certified Public Accountants, be, and they are hereby, employed to make an audit of the accounts and affairs of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and of the accounts of all city officers for the year 1957 as of 11:arch 31 and December 31 in accordance with their agreement for the sum of }3,000.00, and the City Mana,;er is hereby authorized to enter into and sign a contract with said Accountants for the preparation of said audit, said sum to be paid as follows: ,x1,000.00 upon the completion of the audit as of I-iarch 31, 1957, and ,P'2,000.00 to be paid upon completion of the audit as of December 31, 1957. Said contract shall provide for the preparation of an audit in compliance with all of the provisions of KRS 92.!~05, and said Accountants shall furnish to the City in pamphlet form fifty copies of said audit, one to be published in the official newspaper and a copy to be avail- able to each voter who may apply for same at the office of the City i•ianager. Said contract shall also provide for the furnishing to the City eight copies of the transcript of the Auditors work sheet, one copy to be furnished to the Mayor, the members of the Board of Commissioners, the City I-cIanager and the City Treasurer, SECTIOII 2, This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passae, and said ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten (lm days from and after its adoption. �y Riayor Introduced by the Board of Commissioners I -larch 30, 1957 Passed by the Board of Commissioners April 13, 1957 Recorded by Sarah Thurman; City Clerk, April 13, 1957.
