AN ORDINANCE A1vi'ENDING SECTION 12 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED:
"AN ORDINANCE PRESCRIBING RULES FOR THE BOARD OF COPrMISSIONERS OF
THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, FIXING THE TIME FOR HOLDING REGULAR
MEETINGS OF SAID BOARD, AND REPEALING ALL RULES AND ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
ON DECEItiIBER 4, 1951
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COIMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 12 of an ordinance containing the
title quoted above, which was adopted by the board of commissioners
on December 4, 1951, be, and the same is hereby amended and reordained

so that said section as amended and reordained shall read as follows:
"SECTION 12. The Regular Meetings of the Board of Commission-

ers shall be held at 8:30 otclock A.R% on each Saturday in the months

of October, November, December, January, February and March, and shall

be held at the same hour on the second and fourth Saturdays in April,
Dray, June, July, August and September, except when such meetings will

fall on a legal holiday, then the Regular Meeting of said Board will
be held on the previous day at 3:30 P.M.
"Special or called meetings may be held upon the request of
the Mayor or two members of the Board of Commissioners if written
notice thereof is delivered to each member or to his or her residence
or business address twenty-four hours prior to the time that such
meeting is to be held. Provided, however, a special or called meeting
may be held at any date and hour without written notice provided the
Mayor and all members of the Board of Commissioners are present at
such meetings. Executed or accepted notices shall be filed with the
City Clerk and spread upon the minutes."
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption, and the next regular meeting of the
Board of Commissioners shall be held on Saturday, March 9, 1957.
