HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 13, Page 637, No Ordinance Number637 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ADDRESSOGRAPH-MULTIGRAPH CORPORATION FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY OF ONE ELECTRICALLY OPERATED TYPEWRITER KEYBOARD GRAPHOTYPE MACHINE, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO CONTRACT TO PURCHASE SAME BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COM++IISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1_ That the City of Paducah, Kentucky accept the bid of Addressograph-Multirrraph Corporation for the sale to the City of One (1) new Model 6341 electrically operated typewriter keyboard eraphotype machine with #35 style of type spaced 9 characters per inch; light fixture, copy holder, back spacer, plate tray, safety guard, tool drawer, cover and motor, to emboss Style GG alloy Addressopraph plates with bold ?othic type to imprint multiple copy carbon tax bills legibly, emboss four lines of type on top section of GG plates, and emboss five lines of type on bottom section of GG plates. The purchase price of said machine to be the sum of ?`1,430.75. Delivery to be made within six (6) weeks after receipt of the purchase order. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into a contract for the purchase of said equipment as set out in Section I hereof. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for at least one (1) week in the completed .form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
