HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 13, Page 634, No Ordinance Numberb34 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF THE NATIONAL CASH REGISTER COMPANY FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY OF TWO NATIONAL ACCOUNTING MACHINES, MODEL 32-10-14(38M)26" SP 10/1619DC, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO CONTRACT TO PURCHASE SAME BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky accept the bid of The National Cash Register Company for the sale to the City of two (2) National Accounting Machines, Model No. 32-10-14(38m)26,, SP 10/1619DC. J The purchase price of said machines to be the sum of i?5,605.00 each, making a total of ti?11,210.00, less the sum of :;j1,681.50 each for the trade-in value of two (2) used National Accounting Machines Nos. 4783709 and 4840796, making a total trade-in value of tij3,363.00, and making the net purchase price after trade-in to be paid by the City in the amount in of 37,847.00. Delivery of said machines to be with/30 to 120 days from receive of a purchase order. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into a contract for the purchase of said equipment as set out in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on I file for public inspection for at least one (1) week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
