AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 8-A OF THE "APPOINTIVE EMPLOYEES,
CIVIL SERVICE ORDINANCE", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
ON DECEMBER 2, 1947 AND AMENDED ON JANUARY 30, 1953.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 8-A of the "Appointive Employeest
Civil Service Ordinance" which was adopted by the Board of Commission-
ers on December 2, 1947 and amended on January 30, 1953, be, and the
same is hereby further amended and reordained so that said section
as amended and reordained shall read as follows:
"SECTION 8-A_ There is hereby authorized and created the
following positions in the Engineering Department, and the salary of
each position, provided the amount of such salary is not changed under
any apportionment ordinance hereafter adopted shall be as follows:

SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
on and after December 1, 1956.
