HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 13, Page 610, No Ordinance Number610 / J F AN ORDINANCE A14ENDING SECTION 7-A OF THE "APPOINTIVE EIVIPLOYEES' CIVIL SERVICE ORDINANCE', i%IHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COP]MISSIONERS ON DECEMBER 2, 1947 AND AMENDED ON MARCH 6, 1956 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Section 7-A of the "Appointive Employees' Civil Service Ordinance" which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on December 2, 1947 and amended on March 6, 1956 be, and the same is hereby amended and reordained so that said section as amended and reordained shall read as follows: "SECTION 7-A There is hereby created and authorized the following positions in the office of the City Assessor, which office was formerly in the Department of Finance, and the salary of each position, provided the amount of such salary is not changed under any apportionment ordinance hereafter adopted, shall be as follows: Position Salary Per Month Assessor, Head of Department $j325.00 it Clerk -typist 180.00 The Clerk -typist shall be paid at the rate of $180.00 per month for the first six months; and at the expiration of six months $190.00 per month; and at the expiration of another six months $200.00 per month; and at the expiration of another six months $210.00 per month; such increases to be made upon recoThmendation of the City Manager." SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption. Ed D.
