THOMAS TRUCK & TRACTOR COMPANY FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY 'OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY OF ONE THREE-FOURTHS TON TRUCK, CAB AND CHASSIS, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO CONTRACT TO PURCHASE SP14E BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of George R. Thomas Truck & Tractor Company for the sale to the City of one (1) International, Model S-112, 3/4 -ton pick-up truck, cab and: chassis without bed; six cylinder type with oil bath air cleaner, purilator cartridge type oil filter, overload springs, turning signals, rear view mirrors on each side; four first line 6 -ply tires and tubes, color to be designated by the City Manager. Truck to be guaranteed for a period of 90 days or 5000 miles of use, whichever happens first, and delivery to be made within two weeks after contract has been executed. The purchase price of said truck is to be the sum of $1,482.83, less the sum of $154.00 as trade-in price for one (1) 1938 International 3/4 -tan flat bed truck, making the net purchase price to be paid by the City in the amount of 31,32$.83. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into a contract for the purchase of said truck as set out in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3.
