A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 OF SECTION II
OF CONTRACT NO. 2, SANITARY SEWERS OF THE SANITARY SEWERAGE IM-
PROVEPMT PROGRAM, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
SUCH CHANGE ORDER ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH TO EASTWOOD
PLUMBING ANDHEATING COMPANY
WHEREAS, on December 6, 1955 the Board of Commissioners of the
City of Paducah approved and accepted the bid of Eastwood Plumbing
and Heating -Company for the construction of Sections II and III
of -Contract No. 2, Sanitary Sewers of the Sanitary Sewerage Im-
provement Program, and authorized the City Manager to execute a
contract with Eastwood Plumbing and Heating Company for such con-
struction, and
WHEREAS, said contract provided -for certain possible change
orders, and
WHEREAS, Black & Veatch, Consulting Engineers for the con-
struction, have recommended that -an order designated as Change
Order No. 2 providing for the lowering in elevation of a sewer
main under tracks of the Nashville, Chattanooga and St. Louis
Railway be executed resulting in an increase of the contract price
of $310.23.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Change Order No. 2 of the contract for the
construction of Section ii of Contract No. 2, Sanitary Sewers of
the Sanitary Sewerage Improvement Program providing for the lowering
in elevation of a sewer main under tracks of the Nashville, Chattanooga
and St. Louis Railway resulting in an increase of $310.23 of the
contract price, be approved, and that the City Manager be, and he
is hereby, authorized to execute such change order to Eastwood
Plumbing.and Heating Company on behalf of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption:
