AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE 1955 EDITION OF THE NATIONAL
BUILDING CODE RECONMENDED BY THE NATIONAL BOARD OF FIRE UNDERWRITERS
AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
THEREWITH
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.. That the 1955 Edition of the National Building
Code recommended by the National Board.of Fire Underwriters be,
and the same is hereby; adopted by the -City of Paducah, Kentucky
as and for the building code of the City of Paducah governing the
construction, alteration or removal of buildings or structures
in the city.
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinances shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
